Privacy

Your files stay on your machine.

OrbitPDF is built on a zero-collection model. We do not upload your documents, track your activity, or collect your data.

Zero file uploads

When you use any tool in OrbitPDF, your documents never travel across the internet. There are no processing servers, cloud databases, or remote file queues handling your files. All operations—reading, modifying, converting, and rendering—take place entirely in your browser's local memory sandbox.

Zero tracking, analytics, or advertising

OrbitPDF does not run Google Analytics, advertising trackers, conversion pixels, user fingerprinting, or error telemetry. We do not track who you are, what tools you use, what documents you process, or when you visit. We collect nothing.

No accounts or personal information

You do not need to register, sign in, or provide an email address, name, or payment card to use any tool. OrbitPDF is completely open and accessible without personal credentials.

Local history storage

To help you pick up where you left off, OrbitPDF saves a list of your recent jobs (limited to metadata: document name, page count, tool name, and timestamp) directly in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your own device.

  • Your actual document contents and bytes are never saved to persistent storage.
  • This history never leaves your device and is never synced to external servers.
  • You can clear this history anytime by clicking “Clear all” in the Recent tab, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Permanent architectural privacy

Privacy in OrbitPDF is not just a written policy; it is an architectural reality. Because our software has no server infrastructure receiving your files, we cannot view, leak, retain, or share your documents under any circumstances.
